It is the most ancient park of Poland where can visit the forest through numerous routes to visit on foot or in bicycle.
In the East of Poland, just in the border with Bielorusia, can visit the National Park of Bialowieza (PNB). It is the national park but ancient of Poland (year 1932) and covers a surface of more than 10.000 hectares, 6.000 of which have a very strict protection.
The park protects a typical primary forest of the European plain with a variety inigualable of mushrooms, plants and animal, some of which only can find them here.
The symbol of the park is the bisonte, the biggest mammal of Europe. Some 380 copies of these mammals live here in freedom, being the most numerous population of the world.
All these characteristics carried in the year 1977 to declare it World-wide Reservation of the Biosphere by the UNESCO and in 1979 Cultural Heritage of the Mankind.
We can not forget that the forest extends also in territory bieloruso being this zone of main extension and of more difficult access.
In the park can visit the forest through numerous routes to visit on foot or in bicycle. Other zones of interest are the Park of the Palace of finals of the 19th century, the museum of the nature and the forest and the reservation and the shelter of bisontes.
The Bialowieza can find infinity of places where pernoctar, from a stupendous hotel with swimming pool and spa, until rooms in private homes going through pensions of all type. Also it exists some restaurant and some small trade.
To part of the footpaths that recommend you to continuation, exist infinity of them by all the park, a good option is to do with a map of the zone, can buy in any one of the shops to the entrance of park. Another interesting option is to rent a bicycle, that can find in some pensions and shops and lose by us this glorious only forest in Europe.
1. Footpath of the zone protected
The zone of the National Park of Bialowieza of main protection only can be visited with the company of a guide that can hire in the entrance of the park.
The prices are by group independently of the number of people and can find easily guides in Spanish.
The route begins in the casetas situated to the entrance of the park, crossing the artificial Lagos by a wooden bridge and crossing the Garden of the Palace of the Tzars.
The Park of the Palace was established to finals of the S. XIX and principles of the S. XX. Nowadays we can contemplate the wooden mansion of the year 1845, the building but ancient of Bialowieza. From 1996 it is the headquarters of the Centre of Education on the Nature of the PNB.
In this enclosure also find the Museum of the Nature and the Forest that is one of the most modern museums of this type of Poland
Once out of this enclosure, after crossing some fields of abandoned crop, arrive to the big wooden door that gives access to the zone restricted of the park.
The way in the interior of the park is signposted. Obviously, we can not abandon it and we have to be the but respectful possible with the environment.
The circuit is to circulate and carried us some two hours of trek depending of the explanations of the guide.
2. Reservation of Bisontes
The reservation of Exhibition of Bisontes is situated beside the road Hajnówka - Bialowieza. In this reservation can see the bisontes, the zubronie (hybrid of bisonte and cow), the Polish horses of the race tarpan, deers, roebucks, jabalíes, heave and wolves.
The way to arrive, still being out of the zone protected, presents a glorious forest that is worthwhile to visit.
From the entrance of the park, before the wooden bridge, take the road that directs to the cores of Pogorzelce, Teremiski and Budy.
Justo after achieving the forest, to our left goes out a way that adentra in the forest leaving the road.
Has to follow this footpath that in some 4 kilometres and an hour of trek will carry us until the door of the reservation.
To go back, take the track that directs to the road Hajnówka - Bialowieza, to few metres will find a detour to our left that again adentra in the forest. This footpath carried us to the village of Bialowieza in some 4 kilometres more.
3. Meadow
In the National Park of Bialowieza live in freedom around 400 bisontes European. The diverse meadows that there is delivered between the forest in all the park are a good place for, with a lot of luck, see the packs of these big mammalian as they are places where accustom to go to look for food.
To arrive to the Meadow that propose you visit have to arrive until the population of Budy. We leave the just car when the road turns 90 degrees to the left, in the parking of the bar-restaurant Zajazd Mysliwsku.
The first part of the way passes by a track asphalted closed to the traffic for crossing the national park. From a principle already can listen birds carpenters and contemplate the exuberante vegetation.
To the 3 kilometres and 40 minutes of trek take a track of earth that sets off for our right. This track us adentra more in the forest until taking a small way to our left (4 km and 50 min) that ended to the few metres in the meadow (4,5 km and 1 hour).
Can surprise us see a hovered and places to feed to the livestock; these meadows are used in winter by the managers of the park to feed to the packs of bisontes.
The return realises by the same way.
4. Oriel of Carsa Tropina and of Ostoja Zubrow

In this circular route access to two oriels on these meadows: the oriel of Carsa Tropina and the one of Ostoja Zubrow.
To access to the start of the route direct us to the core of Pogorzelce. Shortly before arriving, manually right goes out a track without asphalting but in good condition that directs to the village of Narewka. Before arriving to this village will find a detour rightwards that in few kilometres carried us to a parking.
We take the way indicated to Carsa Tropina. To the few kilometres will arrive to the first oriel. A wooden tower that will allow us have a high vision on the meadow that extends in front of us.
We undo some metres the way until finding a footpath to our right with indications to Kosy Most. To the few minutes go out to a track that take leftwards. Once crossed the river, turn leftwards to arrive to the second oriel: Oriel of Ostoja Zubrow.
To return to the park, go out again to the track but instead of taking the detour to the first oriel follow straight by the track that in few minutes will carry us of turn to the parking.

Hello. I go to visit the P. N. Of Bialowieza of the 16 to 20 August. And of course I want to visit the part protected of the forest that as I know only can visit with guides specialised. It is easy to find guides that speak Spanish in these dates without doing any type of previous reservation?. I have tried to do a reservation in these days through the official page of guides of Bialowieza and so much my bank as his earn me a very high percentage in commissions, since it is an international transfer. A greeting and thank you.
It does some weeks that was visiting the zone of Bialowieza and seemed me a very magic place. No only by the presence of the innumerable species of animals, but by the primitive forest. It was like travelling to the past. A very recommended experience.
We did a visit with a guide, could avistar to the bisontes and learn a lot on the surroundings.

I plan to visit the forest very soon and this information is of the most complete that have found in internet.
It wanted to know, since it does not remain me clear this point, if absolutely all the here described itineraries have to realise accompanied of a guide or is possible to realise any by free. The tourist office has informed me a bit road and-mail, but according to this information, to see to the bisontes is necessary a tour that precise of vehicle and that lasts some 6 hours. To part of the beauty paisajística, interests me a lot of can observe the fauna.
