The White Mountain range is a chain of mountains snowfalls situated north of Peru that jointly with the Black Mountain range (west of the White Mountain range) form the alley of Huaylas by which flows the Saint river in the department of Ancash.

The White Mountain range is the result of the lifting of the Plate Sudamericana by action of the Plate of Was born that it enters under this. Through million years formed the White Mountain range in the zone north the Peru in the department Ancash.

Practically the whole of the mountain range finds protected by the National Park of the Huascarán, paradise of summits snowfalls. It initiates in the location of Cashapampa and finishes in the broken of Llanganuco, to the edge of his beautiful lagunas colour emeralda, in a route that is used to to take between four to six days.
