
Hiking in Fuerteventura

These Christmass were in Fuerteventura with the intention to practise a bit of hiking by this island of the Canarian archipelago.
Fuerteventura, with 1.658 square Kilometres of extension, is the second island in extension after Tenerife and the less mountainous of the Canarian archipelago. Fuerteventura Possesses big planicies because of an intense process erosivo and his central axis is a plain lengthened. Almost 50.000 hectares of Fuerteventura are natural spaces protected: Malpaís Big and Malpaís Chico, Jandía, Tindaya, etc.
Although this island no this so prepared for the hiking like the rest of islands of the archipelago, possesses an only beauty: landscapes totally desérticos, big planicies and wonderful cliffs on the sea do of Fuerteventura a special island to practise this sport.
