
Beach of the Trabucador and Tip of the Banya – Delta of the Ebro

The beach of The Trabucador is a narrow tongue of earth of some 6,5 kilometres of length and with a width of some 50 metres that adentra in the sea until the Tip of the Banya.
It treats of a wild beach that allows to bathe us in two seas: in open sea and in the sea of the bay dels Alfacs. The waters of the inner bay are of little depth, by what result ideals for the practice of sports like the kitesurf or the windsurf.
From this point can observe some splendid put of sun on the Saw of the Montsiá and Sant Carles of the Ràpita.
At the end of this immense beach find the saltworks of Trinidad.
The saltworks of Trinidad produce every year near of 25.000 tonnes of salt that export mainly north of Europe. Between the types of salt more valued that they produce in these saltworks stands out the Flower of Salt. It treats of a pure salt, recolectada according to traditional technicians. The extraction of salt in this zone traces back to the period of the Arabs.
For being zone protected, the visit of this space is restricted and is necessary to request permission to the offices of the Natural Park of the Delta of’l Ebre.
