The Tour of Spain 2019 began the Saturday 24 August with a stage time trial by teams of 13,4 kilometres with exit in the saltworks of Torrevieja, the biggest of Europe. A first stage that has left some spectacular images with the beauty of the mountains of salt of the Alicante location, in addition to the victory of the Colombian Miguel Ángel López, one of the big favourites in houses of bets as 888sport.es. The iconic landscape of the saltworks of Torrevieja and his laguna pink, a phenomenon of only natural origin in Spain, has given the turn to the world through the social networks. However, the best form to know this wonderful place is to visit the Laguna Kills It and the Green Road of Torrevieja in bicycle to be able to enjoy of the contact with the nature. Inside the Natural Park can realise several types of route, between them the yellow route for senderistas and the red route for bicycles. The red route begins in the Centre of Information of the Natural Park of the Lagunas of Kills It and Torrevieja, situated in the ancient forest house in the inmediaciones of the pedanía torrevejense of Kills It.
The cyclists will split from the Centre of Information through a lane bici. This second way ends in a tower of observation, from which it is necessary to take the senda of the left until a roundabout. After following one metres by the lane bici and cross the road to achieve the another lane bici, the cyclists will see a senda with the Laguna of the Saltworks at the end. This senda carries until the Green Road of Torrevieja, an ancient road of the railway between Albatera and Torrevieja. A Green Road that bordea the laguna salinera of the location doing that the cyclists enjoy of the inmensidad of the most spectacular saltworks of Spain.
