Islands Lofoten

The Islands Lofoten surface between the turbulent waters of the Sea of Norway, above the Arctic Polar Circle. This only community in the middle of the wild nature offers an uninterruptible landscape of majestuosas mountains, deep fiords, colonies of marine birds and long beaches ideal for the practice of the surf.

Because of the warm Current of the Gulf, Lofoten has a much softer climate that other parts of the world that find to the same latitude.  Between finals of May and half of July can experience the sun of midnight, whereas the auroras boreales can see from September around the middle of April.

The fishing has been and is, to some extent, the reason by which the people has lived here and the region is known by his a lot of villages pesqueros. Here you can lodge you in a rorbu – ancient cabins of fishermen – and eat fish desecado, to base of cod of desove. The fish desecado is the main ingredient in many of the dishes served in the local restaurants.
