Tour Mont Blanc (Chamonix-Courmeyeur)
Tour Mont Blanc

Inside the big routes of half mountain that do not comport forzosamente climbing or ascensiones to the summit, the Alpes could not leave to have an itinerary that gave the complete turn to the most elevated summit of Western Europe through 3 countries: France, Italy and Switzerland.

An itinerary easily organizable, since it is dotted of shelters, hostels or cabins of mountain where offer you the necessary not to have to go loaded with everything from the beginning.

It is a route of half mountain, apt for all the world that was familiarised with the mountain.

We will go through collados mythical, oriels, forests, … Is perfectly signposted with the typical red bands and white and numerous orientative posters. Also with the initials TMB in yellow. With all this results almost impossible to lose.

When being circular route can begin by where one want. In principle, by French influence and because it comes well to leave the car in a more or less safe place and free during 8 days, will begin in Them Houches in contrary sense to the needles of the clock (can leave the car in the parking of the ropeway of them Houches to Bellevue, is free, in principle is for the people that uses the funicular but there is not any type of control).

The route that propose you here corresponds to the Tour of the Montblanc from Chamonix (France) to Him Courmayerur (Italy), with two peculiarities. One is that the trekking did it with the Mule called “Monsenyor”, that troto all the trekking with us, carrying us part of the luggage, some 7 kilos carried them ours wanted to Monsenyor, and the rest, on some 9 kilos transported it to our backs. The another peculiarity is that instead of doing the Tour circulate by Switzerland, close the circulate in Him Courmayeur and from there went back to Chamonix, crossing the Giant Glacier from the Coll of the Giant until the Aguille du Midi.

The total of the route is of roughly 100 km. In 7 dias.
