It is a hard footpath, with many throw off balance, that goes through natural spaces protected and allows to contemplate a rich romance heritage.

The GR 11 begins in the Basque Country and arrives to the regions gerundenses from Andorra. It penetrates in the Cerdanya, goes through Meranges and goes going down until Guils of Cerdanya and Puigcerdà, local capital that's that of game of the itinerary.

If it wishes do the route in winter, the presence of snow in the zones of high mountain demands to choose with a lot of prudence the stretches to walk, as well as carry the suitable team. The footpath goes through important locations. We recommend, thus, program the route in function of the personal interests of each to end to be able to enjoy fully of the offers of all type that will find on the way (of leisure, artistic, cultural, gastronomic, tourist…).

The fragment that here propose you goes from Puigcerdà, important Pyrenean city, until the Cap of Creus. To initiate the route, situate us in the low part of the population, cross the road of France and direct us to Vilallabent and Age.
