These four beaks (Beak Prislop, Banikov, Pachol’to, Espálená and Salatín) are situated in the Mountains Tatras, just in the border between Poland and Slovakia.
The Mountains Tatras are a mountain range that separates Slovakia of Poland, although only 30% is in Polish territory.
They have an approximate length of 60 kilometres of long and some 30 kilometres of width. Can differentiate the High Tatras in the oriental part with a more alpine appearance, and the Tatras west in the western part softer. They form part of the mountain range of the Cárpatos.
The Slovakian part was declared national park in 1948 and the Polish zone did it in 1953.
