Them Agudes

Them Agudes is a mountain of 1.705 metres that forms part of the Macizo of the Montseny. It is horse of the municipalities of Arbúcies in the region of Selva and of Fogars of Montclús and of the Montseny in the region of the Vallés Oriental.

The natural park of the Montseny and the one of Sant Llorenç of Munt i l'Obac are the natural parks more next and frecuentados of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. Situated to some 50 Km. North of Barcelona.

The Montseny was declared natural park the 1978 and later by the UNESCO Reservation of the Biosphere the 1987. His name comes from of the Latin Mont Signis (mountain signal) given by the Romans in his approximation by sea to the peninsula.

It has three spaces differentiated, the Turó of l'home with 1.703 m. And Them Agudes 1.703m, by a part (west), the Matagalls with 1.697m. And to poniente the altiplano of the Calm, with his more emblematic peak the Puig Drau of 1.344m.
