The Montcau (1056 meters above sea level) is the second higher beak of the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç of Munt i l'Obac.

The macizo of Sant Llorenç of the Munt i l'Obac finds north of Terrassa. It situates on the depression of the Vallès and achieves his maximum height in the Mola, with 1.103 metres. Together with the macizo of Montserrat and the bluffs of Gallifa close the South of the depression of the Ebro.
The group stands out of the rest of Catalan mountains. From any point of the surroundings can see his silhouette and from the side of the region of the Vallès, stand out his more emblematic peaks, the Mola and the Montcau.
The park compose it the mountains of Sant Llorenç of the Munt and the ones of the neighbouring saw of l'Obac. Both join in the Coll d'Estenalles, in the cabecera of laughed it of the Arenes, laughed that it separates them with a valley of karstic origin of sides very escarpados.
To the sides of this macizo, a group of ravines or “channels” divide it in secondary units. They stand out the blocks of the Mola (1.103 metres), the Òrbits (1.031 metres) and the Montcau (1.056 metres).
The peaks characterise for being escarpadas, with bluffs almost vertical that alternate changes of slope. To the foot of the bluffs find monoliths that have been separated of the wall by the erosion. The most emblematic are Cavall Bernat, the Castellasses and the Cova of the Drac.
