The Natural Park of Cadí-Moixeró is the biggest of Catalonia and situates between the provinces of Barcelona, Girona and Lleida, in the field of the regions of the Berguedá, the High Urgel and the Cerdaña.

Situated in the Prepirineos, parallel saw to the Pyrenees, is formed by a type of rock, calcareous, that causes the rugged relief. His expensive north is particularly impactante. Inside the Natural Park finds the Pedraforca, mountain of characteristic form situated in the zone south, and constitutes one of the symbols of the walking in Catalonia.

In this ascensión will discover the saw of the Cadí, that forms part of the natural park of the Cadí-Moixeró, declared in 1.983 in the provinces of Girona and Lleida.

During the route is easy to observe groups of isards (Rupicapra pyrenaica) in the meadows that find in the top of the mountainous chain once surpassed the Pas dels Gosolans, from where have a curious sight of the Pedraforca.
